Partners are businesses and individuals who promote products and services, driving end-users to engage and eventually convert to your offers. In TUNE Pay, your employees can centralize contact information, signed agreements, invoices, and more for each partner account.
Partner management is available to users with the following roles:
- Partner Manager
- Partner Director
- Financial Manager (can’t add new or update existing partners)
- Administrator
To see a list of all partners in TUNE Pay, go to Partners > Partners:
About Partners in TUNE Pay
Partners in TUNE Pay must be assigned an account manager. A partner’s account manager receives notifications regarding the partner and can create invoices containing conversions from the partner. Employees with the partner manager role only see information for partners assigned to them.
Partners in TUNE Pay can have one of a few statuses:
- Draft: Partner not yet created in TUNE and can’t be paid
- Active: Partner created in TUNE and can be paid
- Blocked: Partner can’t access TUNE Pay partner interface or be paid
Tip: TUNE Pay automatically synchronizes partner information with TUNE.
Adding a Partner in TUNE Pay
To add a partner in TUNE Pay, go to Partners > Partners, then click New Partner. On the page that appears, enter information about the partner business, and click Save when you’re finished.
For partners created from the TUNE platform, some information (like VAT tax info and payment details) is automatically populated. Depending on your partner’s preferred payment method, other information may also be required before they can be paid.
Important: Partners must have at least one payment method set up to be paid via TUNE Pay. You can filter by partners who have not yet set up their payment methods on a partners list page.
Updating a Partner’s Payment Method
Partner payment methods contain information about how a partner receives payment for their services. They include individual beneficiary (payee) names or their legal entity names, the currency in which to pay the partner, and other information required for payment.
Setting up multiple payment methods for a partner is useful in some common situations:
- Paying to different bank accounts of the same partner
- Selecting different bank accounts each month when invoicing a partner
- Allowing a partner to get paid via more than one payment method
Tip: Only the primary payment method for a partner is synchronized with TUNE, but you may use any for payment in TUNE Pay.
Uploading Attachments to a Partner
It can be helpful to have a place for you and a partner to share documents like tax forms, agreement scans, and company cards. On a partner’s page, you can use the “Attachments” section to store and download those documents. Users of a partner account and any employees who manage the partner account can upload and later access uploaded files for the partner.
TUNE Pay has the following restrictions for attachments:
- File format: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, ZIP, PNG, JPG, GIF, or BMP
- File size: Less than 20 MB
